Format
Across the multiple regions of the Apex Legends Global Series 2025, teams compete in a Pro League with 30 teams for each region:
- 22 directly invited teams
- 8 teams from the Preseason Qualifiers
For each Pro League, Playoffs qualification and $500,000 is up for grabs. Here, the competition involves the teams being split into three groups of ten teams each, fighting through a triple round-robin.
For 2025, the following regions offer Apex Legends Global Series matches:
- North America – $125,000 prize per split
- EMEA – $125,000 prize per split
- APAC North – $125,000 per split
- APAC South – $125,000 per split
The top 40 from each region then compete in online Regional Finals with a Match Point format to earn seeds at the international Apex Legends tournaments such as the Split Playoffs:
- 2 teams from each Split 2 region
- 24 teams from Championship points
- 2 teams from each Last Chance Qualifier
Moreover, Split 1 Playoffs influence seeding for Split 2 Playoffs.
