- 160 teams split into 8 groups of 20 teams
- At each round the competition is halved and lower half seeds to Elimination Round 1
- Winners Finals
- Last 20 teams play a series of 6 games
- Top 10 move on to Match Point Finals
- Bottom 10 move on to Elimination Finals
- Elimination Rounds 1-5
- 80 teams split into 4 groups of 20 teams
- Top 10 from each stage move on to Elimination Finals

Prize Pool & Seeding
While we won’t dive into the prize pool breakdown for all 160 teams, the main prizes here are the five available seeds for the Midseason Playoffs – one of the best Apex Legends tournaments.
ALGS Open 2025 – Betting Predictions

Considering that this is the first international tournament of the season, predictions are somewhat difficult to make. Regardless, favourites include the best teams from the dominant regions of Americas and EMEA.
In addition, considering that the regional pro leagues are ongoing, teams are still earning their spot in the rankings.
Accordingly, for battle royale type esports, we wouldn’t recommend using tournament outright odds from the offset. Rather, we’d recommend letting the initial rounds of competition to conclude before placing any bets.
