When it comes to esports, Hearthstone is certainly one of the popular ones with several Hearthstone tournaments yearly. Of course, the reason behind the success of its popularity is the fact that there are quite a lot of events organized by Blizzard every year, and they create some of the most epic moments that the Hearthstone competition has to offer.
Hearthstone Tournaments in 2025
Heading into the 10th anniversary of Hearthstone, the esports structure is being revised. For the 2025 season, Blizzard has announced three major Standard events – two Masters Tour Championships building up to the 2025 World Championship.
Masters Tour Championships

A great place to start with Hearthstone tournaments for 2025 is the two Masters Tour – there are two Championships to look forward to this season and are great for Hearthstone betting.
Each Hearthstone championship features a $50,000 prize pool, and the two Masters Tour events are taking place as follows:
- Spring Championship Masters Tour
- Summer Championship Masters Tour
For each Masters Tour, 16 competitors are invited to compete – taken directly from the in-game ranking system. Seeding for each Masters Tour Championship is as follows:
- 6 from Masters Tour Playoffs (2 from each of the three regions)
- 10 from Competitive Points (top 2 per region and top 4 overall)
Across the Masters Tour events, the top 4 from every tournament earn direct invitations to the World Championship.
Last Chance Qualifier
As the penultimate event before the World Championship, the Last Chance Qualifier featuring global talent. Here’s who earns a spot at this final tournament:
- Top 50 – combined Competitive Points earners globally over 3 Qualifying Periods
- Top 4 finishers from Open Qualifiers
- All Masters Tour Championship players not seeded to Worlds
Despite all this talent, only one player earns a spot at the World Championship.
World Championship 2025: Ending with a Bang

The top esports tournament for Hearthstone in 2025 is undeniably the Hearthstone World Championship.
Featuring a $500,000 prize pool, seeding for this tournament is as follows:
- Masters Tour Championship – 8 players
- Chinese Region – 4 players
- Competitive Point Earners – 3 players
- Last Chance Qualifier – 1 player
Taking place every year in December, the best Hearthstone players in the world have the opportunity to cement themselves in the history books.
