Astralis vs Spirit Odds: PGL Astana Grand Final Predictions – Will Astralis Pull Off A Miracle?
The PGL Astana 2025 tournament brought forth surprises after surprises, but we’ve made it to the finish line. The final day of the event will feature a third-place decider before the Grand Final series between Team Spirit and Astralis commences. Let’s see how we can take advantage of the CS2 odds.

GGBet does not currently have odds.
FURIA vs Aurora – Two Hungry Teams With Lots To Prove
The third-place decider at PGL Astana might not have a trophy on the line, but for both FURIA and Aurora, it’s still a high-stakes battle. Each squad comes in hungry, looking to make statements on the international stage.
FURIA have been one of the most surprising stories of the event, coming with modest expectations and managing to exceed predictions. Taking a map off Team Spirit was no small feat and speaks volumes to the potential brewing in this new international lineup.
Their spotlight was under their new young talent, molodoy, who struggled against Spirit, but it’s worth ing that it’s his first taste of elite-tier LAN action. He’ll have to overcome the stage nerves to turn things around.

On the other hand, Aurora entered Astana with a world #5 ranking, but have struggled to live up to it. They displayed an utterly disappointing performance against Astralis, getting blown out in the last two maps of the series. They aren’t beating the “playoff ghosts” allegations by playing like this.
Though they failed on the mission for their first LAN trophy, a win in this third-place decider will help soften the blow of embarrassment and lend some legitimacy to their top-tier placement.
This matchup feels closer than the world rankings might suggest. Let’s not forget that FURIA is equipped with some very experienced players, from the Brazilian core to YEKINDAR, who have played countless stage games. It’s hard to predict who’ll come out on top, but I’m really feeling over 2.5 maps in this series.
Team Spirit vs Astralis – Another Trophy To Add To Donk’s Cabinet?
The stage is set for a thrilling conclusion to PGL Astana, as Team Spirit will take on a resurgent Astralis in the Grand Final. Spirit is chasing dominance, while Astralis is riding the momentum of a honeymoon run. A guaranteed second place is the best result for the Danish organization in five years.
Team Spirit were expected to win the event from day one. Though they’ve not lost a single series, they have definitely looked a little shaky, dropping maps to inferior opponents. A concerning map loss was against FURIA on Train, where donk underperformed with a 0.61 rating, leading to Spirit’s 7-13 map loss.
That brief drip from the world’s best rifler served as a reminder that Spirit can bleed , but it didn’t last long. Donk bounced back immediately and led Spirit to a swift reverse sweep.

Astralis, on the other hand, have been the feel-good story of the event. With all the circumstances in mind, changing in-game leaders and having the org on the brink of bankruptcy, the Danes have looked revitalized, and the results speak for themselves. They’ve taken down top-tier CS2 teams to get to this point.
The standout so far has been Staehr, who’s playing some of the best Counter-Strike of his life. A 1.51 rating against Na’Vi into 1.42 against Aurora proves he’s not riding the wave – he’s driving it. But as much as the hype is deserved, can they actually take down Spirit?
Things get trickier for Astralis, as we must the Grand Final is a Best of 5 series. Astralis are still a new team with a new structure, and it’s unlikely they’ve had enough time to fully prepare a competitive five-map pool. The added number of maps also makes it harder to pull off an upset against a well-oiled machine like Team Spirit.
Though Astralis might have the fire to take a map, it’s very hard to see them beating Spirit in a Best of 5. My CS2 betting prediction is a 3-1 victory for Team Spirit, though a clean sweep is also probable.
