Rainbet Replaces Betway as Ninjas in Pyjamas’ Betting Sponsor
Esports organisation Ninjas in Pyjamas (NIP) has announced a large partnership with crypto casino company Rainbet, a betting brand founded in 2023. The two partners will work together on content, activations, and other activities, but not a lot was shared initially.
Rainbet is a crypto casino and sportsbook that offers esports betting along with casino games and other sports betting services. The partnership with Ninjas in Pyjamas is the first major esports partnership for the betting brand owned by RBGAMING N.V., but not its first esports venture.
The company is the title sponsor of the Rainbet Cup, a B-Tier CS2 event to be hosted in Europe later this month, which will feature several notable teams such as Fnatic and ENCE. A
The partnership with Rainbet marks a turning point in NIP’s history, as it marks the conclusion of the company’s partnership with Betway, which lasted for almost a decade, making it one of the longest-lasting in all of esports. As a result, Rainbet will replace Betway as the main shirt sponsor for Ninjas in Pyjamas.
The new shirts have debuted for PGL Astana, an ongoing large-scale CS2 tournament.
